Why we're needed

A driving licence is expensive, and people still learn like twenty years ago.

Anyone who only memorises answers won't spot the dangers the question bank leaves out. Anyone who understands why a rule exists drives more safely. That's why we're building DriveGuru: for new drivers who truly understand, and for safer German roads.

Why now

From 2027, the reform changes all of driver training.

Learners will study far more on their own. The government isn't building a platform for that. We are.

  • From January 2027, mandatory theory classes in person go away.
  • Practical training follows skill instead of minimum hours.
  • In a pilot scheme, parents may accompany driving practice.
  • A public register makes prices and pass rates comparable.

    Matching you with the right driving school, and software that lets schools run their day digitally.
  3. Connects it all
    The digital training record
    It records your progress and driving practice from start to finish, and it belongs to you. Instructors, parents and you use it to work together on the situations you still find hard.

We build one product at a time. The next stage starts only once the previous one has measurably hit its goal.
